I don't get the point how to drill this exercise.

Nice video, before you give the correct answer I press the pauze button and try to play the notes myself. I did very well, you fooled me a little with that F#. Week 1 completed. PS: I'm only playing for a couple of months, this video gives me confidence, thank you !

This guy just popped up on my feed. I'm thinking of getting my piano keyboard out of storage and taking it up again. Many commentors say this teacher is incredibly good. One of the things I find difficult with the piano is that it's hard to get a good sounding rhythm unless you are very skilled, while it's pretty easy on a guitar. What? Finish watching this video?? Okay, I'll do it. Ha ha! Ok, I finished watching it. It seems to me that if you used only one of these patterns for a whole song, it would get boring fast. But perhaps mixing up several patterns during a song would work well. I can't say I like the idea of memorizing a bunch of patterns, but I'm looking at it. Anyway, he's captured my interest enough, so I'm going to subscribe and look at his channel. I like that he counts out the beats so I can understand where he's at.
